How to make an appetizer roll with ham and cheese simple and quick recipe?

Ingredients for ham or ham roll with cream cheese

Here's how I prepared what I needed for this recipe: the bowl of cottage cheese and bellows cheese, the colored bell peppers, the onion (of which I would use only 2 strands) and the slices of ham.

I quickly prepared the cream by mixing the two types of cheese in a bowl. I chopped green onions (2 strands).

I added soft butter and chopped green onions. I tasted salt. It is not wrong if you add some greens (chopped green parsley or dill) to the cream.

I cut the long-colored peppers into thin sticks of approx. 0.5 cm thick.

Glue rolls with omelet

They can be a good appetizer, they can be a breakfast or a dinner with a salad. Regardless of the occasion on which the omelette rolls are served, they are very tasty and are very easy to prepare. You need some ingredients of which the basic ones are glues and eggs, otherwise everything is versatile, you can add vegetables, ham, cheese, everything is to get a beautiful color. You can use kapia peppers, greens, cucumbers. Generally non-juicy vegetables.

The only secret is to run very tightly, so that when you cut the glue the slices do not come loose, because everything is done cold, nothing is baked :)

You can use wholemeal glue if you like.

Glue rolls with omelet

  • 1 small glue
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 smaller kapia pepper
  • 1 slice of ham
  • 2 triangles of melted cheese or cream cheese

If you buy big glues, use 3 eggs for one glue.

In principle, the rolls are made very simply, an omelet with detox is made which is put on the glue and rolled. This means that the pan in which the omelet is made must be a little smaller than the stick.

So beat the eggs with a little salt, add the ham and diced peppers. Bake an omelet, try to turn it carefully so as not to break it.

Grease a stick with melted cheese or cream cheese (it is important to put cream cheese, it is the binder between the stick and the omelet) put the omelet and grease again with a little cream cheese. If you want you can put a few pieces of fresh or pickled cucumber. Or you can put avocado.

Roll tightly and wrap the roll in cling film. Keep the roll cold for a few hours or even overnight and then cut it into slices about 0.7 cm thick with a sharp knife.

Place them on a plate and serve with vegetables or even a yogurt sauce.

Hot sandwiches with glue

Sandwiches are the ideal solution when… anytime! For dinner, for the package, for parties, for children, for almost all occasions when you don't have time to cook sophisticated dishes that will take you a long time. Generally for sandwiches it is preferable to use a quality bread, with crispy crust such as ciabatta, but you can also use bagehta or any other type of crispy bread. I make sandwiches quite often and I can say that since I tried the sticky version, I have remained faithful to it. Firstly because there is less bread, and then the calories decrease :), then for the taste. They are delicious in this version, I can't wait for you to try them too.

Stick sandwiches are very practical especially because the next day they are just as good, my children are absolutely delighted with them so I prepare them quite often but with different fillings. Because we are talking about hot sandwiches, you must not miss the flowing cheese in them, that is, you know mozzarella, cottage cheese, cheese, gouda, masdam, you can also use bellows cheese if you like. The rest are vegetables, and here there are many variants but in general the most commonly used are tomatoes, peppers, onions, cucumbers, radishes. And let's not forget the greens, arugula goes very well, crispy salad, cabbage, valerian, flavoring herbs like thyme, basil, oregano. Of course you can also put corn, beans, chickpeas, olives… it is important to find the winning combination. And meat, let's not forget the meat here you can use pieces of steak, ham, spicy dried salami or not, pastrami (I just posted the recipe), tuna, smoked fish.

So I am convinced that you have some of the above mentioned ingredients with which you can prepare some absolutely delicious sandwiches!

I chose to prepare them in two options: fried in oil and sandwich maker. Of course, the fried ones seemed tastier to me, but if you want to pack them for the next day or make larger quantities, I recommend the sandwich maker. And for extra health of course :)

Hot sandwiches with glue

  • 3-4 glues (24cm diameter) - 2 pieces come out of a glue
  • 1 egg (fry only)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red onion or 2-3 green onions
  • 50g arugula
  • 150g shallow mozzarella
  • 300g chicken pastrami (recipe here) or ham

On a sheet of glue we put 2 tablespoons of grated cheese, peppers and pastrami cut into pieces, sliced tomatoes (only 2-3), sliced onion, arugula and 1 tablespoon of beaten egg with a little salt. Fold like an envelope so that the filling is not visible and face it down in a little oil with a lid for 2 minutes on one side, then turn them slightly and fry them for another 2 minutes on the other side.

My advice is to prepare them all and then fry them all at once. We take them out on an absorbent napkin and cut them diagonally.

Here in the version prepared on the machine.

In the sandwich maker version, they are made exactly the same, except that they are not fried in oil.

We serve hot but they are just as good the next day.
